Pulvarium for the Collection of Berlinische Galerie (State Museum for Art, Photography & Architecture)

The astonishing installation Pulvarium by the talented Berlin-based artist Jenny Michel has been acquired by the Berlinische Galerie (State Museum for Modern Art, Photography & Architecture). The artist who already received numerous awards and scholarships, such as the Else-Heiliger-Fonds scholarship awarded by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (2008) and the HAP-Grieshaber Prize awarded by VG Bild-Kunst created this apparently classified collection of dust between 2005-2007. It deals with one of her typical complex works series, that always contain a multifaceted contextual background of philosophical-scientific observations, self-created theories and fictive concepts.
